  • It's good to grow 3-6 plants depending on the size of the container. It's good to weave the stems together as they grow. That way they can help support each other but not so tightly as to choke each other out. Prune off excessive leaves so more plant energy will go to producing fruits (tomatoes are the same way) but you must leave enough leaves for photosynthesis to convert sun energy into potential plant energy. You really should Google it though. It's been researched to death! The US Navy was key in pproducing better growing techniques early on because they used the hemp to make rope/ small stuff. And the light cycle determines whether the plants become male or female.
