  • At age 9, I was pushed off of a wall behind a 50 foot tall dam. I held my breathe as I plummeted down into the water. I went down and down. I knew if I just held my breathe, I would eventually come back up. I had no swimming experience except in a waist-deep backyard plastic pool. The fool who pushed me in would not even help me get to shore, so I dog-paddled back. I was exhausted and never went near deep water again.
  • I tend to sink. Swimming is a bit of work for me and therefore less fun.
  • Depends on the shoes I wear
  • Did swim before when younger. I need to learn again maybe.
  • Honestly, I put on some stress weight during COVID shutdown and haven’t lost it yet. I probably couldn’t sink if I tried ha! I grew up around lots of water and boats though and I love swimming. During normal times I go to the pool about once a week to swim laps. It’s been closed
  • Tread water to float. Though I am starting to swim again as I look for a writing job or an accounting job.
