    • Vittorio 'Sam' Manunta-Lowell
Haven't met one idiot who isn't happy!

  • No, Ecclesiastes chapter 3 makes it clear... A Time For Everything. Our lives contain a mixture of joy and sorrow. It is how we know there is a season for every activity under the heavens.
  • No. True happiness is not 24/7 because there are other emotions that a person has due to reactions to situations and the emotional impact that people have on each other whether it’s positive or negative. If you think you are happy all the time, you would have to be delusional. People in general experience loss of some sort in their life which can create sadness and this can happen to each individual including those who are delusional to think they are happy all the time.
  • I don't think so. Happiness is enjoyment. In order to enjoy something, you need to form attachment to it. Attachment, though, inevitably leads to sadness. Some say that they can merely become content without forming attachment, but I have profound doubt in that.
