If you eat nothing and weigh yourself once in the morning, once at noon, and once at night, the scale reading won't just go down -- it will fluctuate. Your body balances things based on the energy needs of the day. That's why a lot of fitness coaches recommend you only weigh yourself every few days and ALWAYS at the same time. That way you can get a real idea of what's going on.
  • Suzy is right. Its probably just water. I've gained 10lbs in a week when I went off my meds that help eliminate water from my body, and lost it back in 2 days after taking my meds regularly again. I also lost 12 lbs in 3 days because of vomiting and diarrhea. If you are determined to change your body, you need to make it a lifestyle change and focus more on inches (or how your clothes fit) than weight. Oh, and don't give up after two weeks!
