What is going to happen to my boyfriend in jail?
I'm 16, hes 18. We ran away together for a day and a half. The cops found us and immediately arrested him and took him to jail. I was driven home. The detective said he was charged with corruption of a minor and interfering with the cutstody of a minor, there was no abuse whatsoever, do you think i'd still be able to atleast write to him while he is in jail? or do you think the judge will issue a no contact?

Since there was consent involved, he may just be labeled as a sex offender (this is very serious and will follow him for the rest of his life). He will probably not go to prison but this depends on his previous record. A good lawyer will get him off.

Isn't that sweet? You're concerned about your future with him when you should be more concerned about his present status. If authorities don't keep him in isolation, he could be someone's set-toy by now. Those things go on in county lockups too. Isn't making adult decisions fun?
