How do you honestly react when given a gift you don't like?
Are you honest, or do you pretend that you like it? Have you ever regifted or thrown away an unwanted gift?

I always said whether or not I liked a gift. I did say I appreciate the thought . The person could take it back for a refund or exchange it.

I just thank them and say how thoughtful they were. But think rather sometimes they don't know me at all or worse don't care to know me at all. I give all the candy and chocolate and junk food to people who will better appreciate them. The irradiated spice bottles I throw out.
