  • You must mean "atheist". Maybe they choose not to believe in science or God.
  • There is no such word as "athiest", and even if it was a word it wouldn't be a noun, it would be the superlative form of the hypothetical adjective "athy" (i.e. athy, athier, athiest). You know, like silly, sillier, silliest.
  • Scientists cannot proof God is real. They may be able to prove there are forces in nature they don't entirely understand but extending that to mean there is a God is an extreme reach. There is also something of an fantasy Disney like cartoon view of God in flowing white robes, angles with wings, and the pearly gates of heaven that many conventional Christian religions believe that is absolutley ridiculous. With that said, it is not reasonable to ask why someone doesn't not follow a specific docterine but why DOES one follow a specific docterine. If a bunch of people pray for someone to get better from a serious illness, sometimes they get better and sometimes they don't. That happens to be exactly the same outcome is nobody prays for them.

Every time scientists try to prove god isn't real end up proving he is real.

@Nosehair: Why do some people make the same typo twice?
    • Bootsiebaby
@typicaljake: "A lot of them", not "alot of them". There is no such word as "alot". They are two separate words.
