  • Use what it says in the manual *gasp* yes - that big book in your glovebox that tells you how to take care of your car. It actually contains that information. Your vehicle is not old enough nor does it have enough mileage to warrant using a thicker oil to avoid compression loss. Dust off that book and have a read I say.
  • I would go with a 5W30 assuming your summers are like mine; temps between 65-95F.
