I have no problem with an age gap--my husband is 11 years older than me. But in my opinion a 30 year age gap is too much. I'd be rather uncomfortable with the generation difference and with the fact that he would be old enough to be my father. But that's totally just me!
-
Nope,not a chance!
-
I certainly wouldn't, but I'm a guy and no way would I date a 90 year old.
-
I did for a few months...I was 19 he was 47 (well nearly 30 years!), it was interesting and I liked him, and at first the age differences were funny and cute, I think we had more in common in basic attitudes but generatinal differences were intersting, but after a while they became boring...after all this time I think that it wasn't the age difference it was just time to move on. (Hindsight has shown that on average most of my relationships at that time lasted only a few months), so don't be afraid of dating an older man, enjoy him because you never know what may come of it - something, nothing or everything.
-
A dude, hell no... A woman maybe.
-
not at this point in my life. i won't say never, but i don't see me being open to that anytime soon.
-
Only if he's still breathing.
-
Nooo not in a million years.
-
Only if he's gentle. :)
-
Yup.
-
No a 47 year old man , never!
-
I wouldn't typically date a woman 30 years older than me. I don't date men.
-
No, cause I like women.
-
Never say Never, but I don't think I'd have anything in common with a man who was 30 years older than me. He'd be a better match as a buddy for my dad... (Who just turned 60.) Ick.
-
Nope. I'm not comfortable with dating a man that smells like bengay and wears dentures.
-
I dated a woman in her forties when I was only 18. Not quite 30 years but close enough... honestly, it was just sex. I honestly don't think any guy knows what he wants at 18 years old these days.
-
I wouldn't totally rule it out, but I doubt it'd work. He'd be 48, and I think he'd feel like my dad rather than my partner.
-
I would depending on if I was attracted to him or not.
-
well i wud like to say yes (well if it wasnt illigal) If i really loved him But then i think while im 30 and still feeling young, he's be 60, and i would be takin care of him, in a few years. and it wud just be weird but if we were really in love we could work through it as long as i wasnt a gold digger :)
-
A man, probably not. A woman, why not? Well, because I'm married. But theoretically, anything could happen.
-
No. I would find it just TOO weird for someone to be old enough to be my dad, yet the same time he'd be my boyfriend? Weirds me out. Funny though, that the youngest I've dated was 4 years older than me so it shows that I am attracted to older guys.
-
If you'd asked me seven years and one month ago, I would have said, "Hell no!!" and made retching noises. Seven years ago I met a really great guy who is 30 years older than me. We immediately clicked. I was very mature for my age and he was very immature for his. We shared a lot of the same beliefs, liked a lot of the same things, and had the same goals in life. We were both uneasy with the age difference and the thought of telling my family was nearly enough to throw me into a panic. We eventually got used to the ugly looks people gave us when we were out and my family accepted him with very little problem. He worries about losing his health and having me end up as his caretaker. The irony of it is that he is very healthy and takes good care of himself, while I suffer from some serious health problems. It's just as likely that he'll end up taking care of me. In a more general sense, anything can happen no matter your age. Anyone can be incapacitated in an accident. At least I get to make a choice about the matter. Seven years into the best relationship I've ever had, all I can say is that I'm glad he found retching noises sexy.
-
Nope. hes older than my father. Ewww.
-
yes for sure and iam doing that now and that is the most amazing thing i ever did in my life , he is so great ,caring, honest , dedicated, has big heart , understanding and so hot , iam enjoying being with him and having sex with his romantic way and gentle touch
-
If money matters!!
-
never
-
O_e Hell no! Ew that's gross man!!! At most it would be 10years! AT MOST!
-
No, and only because I'm a man....
-
I wouldn't date a man because I am one but I saw a beautiful Bollywood(Hindi) film called Cheeni Kum meaning Less Sugar about a 34 year old woman falling in love with a 64 year old man.He was shown owning an Indian Restaurant in London and she, a tourist.
-
No i don't think so
-
Only if he was loaded and hung like a Mississippi mule. Lol
-
I really doubt it
-
Date him no, I would marry him if he had money and one foot in the grave.
-
Oh ick no... Geez even my dad is only 22 years older than me and that seems too old to be dating.
-
i personally, proberly not. however you dont choose who you fall in love with. If i met a man, got to know him, found him attractive and we had alot in common and then i found out he was 30 years older then me, i wouldnt care as long we were happy. If a 20 year old meets a 50 year old they could get on, i know some 50 year olds that are really good looking and you can have good conversation with (and no its not my dad!!! lol) and im only 24!!
-
Maybe... He would have to look much younger than he was, work out, have all his hair, and have a big you know what. He would also have to be very established in his career and accomplishments, and be fun to be with. I guess I would. :)
-
Would I? Yes I would and I am. Never have I met anyone like him, ever. He may be old, but he is young at heart. I don't think I'll ever date someone my age again. I think I really love him, no scratch that, I know I love him.
-
no but i am a man so take that into consideration...+5.
-
No way.
-
no, then he would be 54 years old. thats past my limit.
-
Nope, but I wouldn't date another man at all so it really doesn't count. +4
-
A fifty year old... no.
-
Hell NOOO...LOL.
-
No way. My age limit is 5 years older than me and 2 years younger.
-
depends how rich he is!!!!
-
Aah! I did date a man 30 years older than me. He was , a famous Hawaiian surfer from back in the 70's. Sadly he had the maturity of a teenager and suffered from screaming fits. The age did not matter; he was rather ageless and interesting. There even some perks. The guy was so small that his brand-name wetsuits that companies gave him gratis snuggly fit my tiny frame. Plus he shaped great surfboards.
-
thats like my dad man..i feel sick just thinking bout it!! urgh!!
-
Nope :) +5
-
only if he was rich and didn't believe in prenuptial agreements.
-
No, I might as well get into necrophilia.
-
If it were Harrison Ford (67) Yes. (That's 47 years older then me) Or Colin Firth (49) Only 29 years older not 30.
-
NO WAY :-&
-
Not now! When I was much younger, I might have, but now he'd be an octogenarian and I would end up being a care provider.
-
no, never i'm not into men, i prefer women
-
no way, we would have nothing in common. I wouldn't waste my time like that.
-
Ewwwwwwww
-
Thats close to my dads age so not only a no, but a hell no.
-
You couldn't get me drunk enough ;)
-
no. two reasons... one i'm a guy. two 30 years is way too many years.
-
No, that is disgusting
-
well i dont kno :/ ...im dating a guy 24 yrs older than me but idk if i would go for a guy 30 yrs older ...jummmmm it depends..
-
I do not aspire to ultimately be anyone's caregiver.
-
hell no. *well im lesbian, so a woman 30 years older for me* that age gap is wayyyy to big. i mean a few years, maybe at the most 10 or 11 years older. im a year older than my girlfriend, but a year isnt a big deal. anyway, my point is no, that age gap is way to big.
-
maybe, it would depend on who he was and what he was like
-
Only if it was Ice Man. He is so cute.
