I think anyone, that is wealthy enough to both afford and appreciate opera, can support that particular type of music themselves. I don't see anyone supporting rock, heavy metal, or hard core rap. It should be all or nothing. +5

Not being an Opera lover I would still say yes because I would want them to fund the Ballet.

NO !!! If the event cannot fund itself from endowments and those who attend ; then they need to CLOSE down .... I can't see using Tax Dollars for Entertainment ... Suposse I felt that taxpayers needed to fund Profesional Wrestling or Mixed Martial Arts ??? +5

Why the Hell not? We fund wars to kill and destroy simply for the power and wealth of others ... To fund something wonderful would be a rewarded tax paid for a good change ... Peace
