If I give up this silly hobby!
-
Nope- that means I wouldn't have time for AB. +++
-
If my daily income would be the same as now when I work, I would give a try.
-
I sure would :) I love reading.
-
Not a BIG one. ; ) http://www.randomhouse.com/golden/lgb/
-
yes, definitely if its a book that interests me.
-
If someone would pay me to give up work to do it, yes. They would probably have to be fairly thin books though otherwise I couldn't finish them in a day.
-
Absolutely, but as of right now I can't seem to pry myself away from AB.
-
Eeep, no. I have read some books in one day, but they gotta be interesting enough, and not too thick. Either way though, I couldn't do that. I love reading, but Christ lol.
-
I don't believe I could.
-
I use to read a book a week but never a day.
-
Depends how thick and tedious the reading material is. Based on my experience, a 250-300+ pages book, with a not so complicated storyline, is possible to finish in a day (The Mermaid's Chair for example).
-
... perhaps.
-
If someone was willing and able to assume all of life's responsibilities for me, sure. If I was able to choose the books, I think that would be a great way to spend a year.
-
Never! I have a long commute, 60+ hour a week job, part-time graduate school, assisting elderly parent, and much more. Very little time for recreational reading. +5 :-)
-
Not likely. Can read more quickly than most people ,but no way. Read six books in one month once and then burned out.
-
Yes. I would probably never do that though. I'm sure that would ruin a lot of books for me. Some books deserve more time.
-
At one time I could. Since my cataract surgeries, my eyes get pretty tired after about three hours of reading.
-
no, it takes me longer than a day to read a book
-
No because my memory of these books would get lost.
