No question. Real. It's pretty cheap around here because of the number of sugar shacks. I'm actually considering tapping and boiling off my own this spring as I have part of a maple bush on the property.

Real imitation makes my girlfriends belly break out

Real. There is no comparison.

Either, just bring me the pancakes!

I like the real stuff no doubt about that! But if the imitation has plenty of sugar then hey why not have that too?

There's nothing like the real thing.

Nothing beats real maple and it has to be Grade B amber. Great for pouring on breakfast foods and fabulous for cooking with. I always have a gallon jug in the house. We use it to add to lemonade instead of sugar, too.

Real Maple Syrup. It absolutely tastes so much better than imitation.
-
Hand down it's REAL maple syrup. Imitation is made of corn syrup with imitation maple flavoring. The real syrup may cost more but, because of it's sweetness and flavor you use less of it so the bottle lasts longer.
-
they make imitation? hmmm I think I'll stick(no pun intended) to my Maine maple syrup!!
-
Real. Once you've had the real thing, you will NEVER go back.

The real thing, though I did once find this imitation maple syrup topping for icecream and when you put it on it went all chewy and it was absolutely delicious.

Real maple syrup :)

If it's not real then it's no deal.

I made it outside with my dad when I was a kid - cooked it over a fire. It was amazing.
