Absolutely not. I grew up swimming in the river and still live very close to the river and continue to swim. Saved a few people about to drown over the years. I think I like water. It is a good thing as I live in hot country.

Not exactly. I love the water, but have never felt the same about it after I saw jaws. And when I was parasailing over the turks/caicos islands I could see things swimming around that made me think; hmmm "if I happened to fall into the water, I wonder if that huge thing would eat me!" LOL!

Terrified of deep water, but not water I can stand in.

For the first few years of my life, I fell in the canal aged 3 and was apparently scared to walk down there for a good few years, not that i remember this! I have always loved the water, since i was very young & love to swim! Although i do have a healthy respect for it!
-
No, as long as I don't have to drink it.
-
I never go into water I can't see the bottom of. I was never a strong swimmer and water babies could be lurking. 2/28/23

It’s water in the ocean that I would be afraid of going into because there could be a stray shark that can kill people or jellyfish that would sting me. I am not afraid of water in a swimming pool and in the shower. That’s a different experience.

not at all

Only in deep water. The fear of water in general is the fact that it centers on vastness, darkness and depth.
