SPOILER ALERT! for those of you who dont read the books and just watch the movies this could be a BIG spoiler... but i was most devistated by the death of Lupin. i cried for hours.

Dobby. It was unnecessary to the advancement of the story. Just an unnecessary, shock value death.

Moody. He was pretty cool.

I always thought that Snape should have been shown for the courage of being a double agent. Instead he was forced to kill Dumblerdor. (sic) I also thought that Harry should have ended up being the Professor against the Dark Arts.

I still have to go with Dumbledore. He was my favorite. I was even sad when the original guy that played his character in the movie died. I think he was best for the part.

*** SPOILER ALERT *** Well, Sirius of course. But I always expected that Harry would find a way to get him out of that "black door" in the Ministry of Magic by the end of the series and they'd live happily ever after, and was disappointed that didn't happen. Next would be Dumbledore. I rather think it was ridiculous that she killed off almost all the good guys and end the story so unhappily :-(

Hedwig. I expected some human deaths, but definitely not the death of Harry's beloved pet!
