I've had several through the years from intramural softball to (single-pitch) rockclimbing, backpacking, trail horses (for days along the coast range of NoCal), fresh & saltwater fishing, motorcycles (commuted on one 365 for 25 years), dirtbikes, white water rafting, coin collecting, firearms, wines, stereos and chasing women. Considering the obsessive thought, money and trouble involved indulging in each, each qualifies as a "passion" at one time or another. - Why it's cool to keep that in mind during the activity. Perfect opportunity for 'in-the-moment' living, no?! ;-)
