The drug constitutes a the main aprt of this person's needs. Like I need food, heat, transportation, tax money, entertainment. and etc. This person needs DRUG. Everything else will fall in place, without Drug no living with that person. It may start out as a plaesurable thing and in some cases people can control it that way, but usually it becomes a burden on many levels, to all around the the addict. Could be why some are isolated and homeless.

The same way I would define someone addicted to coffee, an over the counter drug, or any other drug. One is just as bad as the other. Or Business people as most of them take pills to live each day by or boozers that drink all day in their fine offices. So many names to define an addicted person.

I don't know anyone who uses drugs so for me anyone who uses drugs is a drug addict. I may be wrong...from what I've read here and there, not all drug users are drug addicts ...but I find that hard to believe.
