  • Usually laziness, LOL.
  • Because like they say .... what taste good is so BAD for you .... And biting down into a nice double cheeseburger, chewing on a nice crispy french fry etc .... just taste so darn good; BUT ... is so darn BAD for me ...
  • Hunger + convenience = fast food. At least it does for me, sometimes.
  • I'll only eat it when I'm really hungry and don't have much time to cook something.
  • Because its fast, lately I have been making a effort to avoid them.
  • when i want to be "bad" in my eating habits.generally healthy but i love to be bad from time to time.no harm i'll just ride an extra 5-10 mile.
  • Very rarely I will get a really big craving.. it will be 11 at night, I'll be hungry and a mcDonalds advert will come on TV - I have to hit the drive though then! Generally, I am quite put off by the idea - there is always a sushi place or a sandwich place opposite; or lots of yummy ingredients in the fridge and that kills any want for fast food!
  • usually being on the go
  • Nothing.....I know a tummy ache is coming after, so I stay as far away as possible
  • In a hurry to go somewhere else. No time for a leisurely meal. Want something inexpensive. Don't want to tip.
  • I don't find anything appealing about fast food, in fact it's the opposite. Once in a blue moon, when stuck for time, I'll go for it but I'm almost always disappointed.
  • Hungry and did not take anything out..:)
  • Hankering for french fries.
  • sinful cravings, pure and simple! :-)
  • Nothing!
  • I don't. I had rather cook myself.
  • convenience lol
  • When i'm low on money, the only option for lunch is McDonalds. Taco Bell is pretty cheap, but McDonalds will guarentee to fill your hunger.
  • An empty stomach in conjunction with a tight schedule.
  • When I am in town, it is getting late, I am still facing the 30 to 40 minute drive home and know that I will not feel like cooking when I finally do get home.
  • when i don't have the time to make something or if i'm out and about and hungry. or maybe the newest burger will look too good to ignore lol!
  • nothing could make me want to eat that processed crap!
  • conveinience, is the main reason for me, it sure isn't the taste
  • I don't eat a breakfast, then I feel low and sanck at 10AM. Usually the only thing I find is an energy bar or a hot dog. Something I should avoid. It's just at 6:20 AM the last thing I want to doe is eat.
  • Terrific value. Large portions.
  • Taste-Smell
  • On vacation and dont have a kitchen to cook my own.
  • Sugar and a empty Stomach!
  • To take a break from cooking. Tired of cooking everyday and wanting something different.
  • could it be.... SATAN? :D
  • Lack of time to properly prepare something
  • Not wanting to cook and do the dishes. Also, I give my dog half of a McDonald's double cheeseburger with her kibble, so I'll normally get her a weeks worth of them and I'll get fries. Then there is always pizza and I have to have my Philly Cheesesteak every couple of weeks. They are not due to the laziness. I just like the way they taste.
  • its easy and it tastes sooo good.
  • Nothing - If I don't feel like cooking and have no time I will make scrambled eggs, tuna fish or grilled cheese. If I am not home and hav to eat fast I go to a grocery store and buy fruit, cheese and bread.
  • Nothing. I dont eat it. I dont need it because after it makes me feel really... dirty
  • I LIKE THEM WHEN I'M IN A HURRY.
  • Because its convenient. Also if you eat it every once in a while it wont hurt you.
  • Fast foods contain poisons and substances that make people addicted, lethargic and stupid; otherwise they might stop eating it and that would effect the profits of the global food chains!
  • I agree that being on the go is the time to eat fast food... but I usually get really angry when I am forced to eat it (and yes I say forced) because... I am TOTALLY AGAINST IT!!!!!!!! Here is why!! 1) it is HORRIBLE for your body- not necessarily the fat content (which is more than a day's worth of fat by the way), but rather all of the chemicals that are added for flavor and preservation. Many of the organic molecules added to fast food are actually poisonous in high enough levels. 2) fast food meat packing and poultry plants treat their workers inhumanely (often times workers are severely injured... aka have arms and legs get amputated in the machines) and are FIRED for not being able to work. Also, meat, potatoes, and chicken have become so monopolized that the people working in the factories and fast food restaurants are getting paid minimum wage while the big CEOs on wall street are swimming in money... talk about gluttons... 3) most of the food is extremely unsanitary. Most of the workers in the meat packing, potato, and poultry plants do not speak English, often times the workers are completely illiterate in any language. They cannot read or understand their instruction manuals and often do not understand basic sanitary regulations that most people are taught growing up. Food is often dropped on the floor (which has been walked on by the factory workers who walk threw cow feces and blood), contaminated with cow and chicken fecal matter (poop), hair, and vomit. 4) Several people have died and several children have developed mental disabilites due to pathogens found in the meat. Companies who own the meat packing plants put bans on testing their foods for deadly strains of e.coli and other types of harmful pathogens. The government was ok this this. Regulations are becoming stricter... however, don't you like to know what you are eating? 5) Cows are meant to be fed grass, not corn, other dead cows, dead sheep, dead cats, dead dogs, dead chicken, dead chickens and chicken poop, pizza dough left over from factories, and left over sweets such as cookies and candy that have fallen on the floor in confectioneries. So- if you are "avoiding carbs" by eating meat- you are just eating them in another form. Not to mention that when cows eat other dead animals, viruses and bacteria specific to those species can mutate and become a new pathogen in the cow that can be passed on to humans (such as mad cow disease). This is how aids became a human disease- it originated in Monkeys). 6) the agricultural industry produces more methane gas than the automobile industry alone... aka helping to make global warming WORSE. If agriculture was not industrialized in order to supply fast food companies with their disease ridden, fecal filled beef and chicken patties, there would be happy cows eating grass and having a little space to roam. Instead, we hold cows in living quarters the size of their body, have them eat their own kind, including excrement, and ship this meat across the country... and we wonder why everything has gone awry.... 7) it is why our health care system is FAILING- the rise of obesity, cheap fast food is available and consumed most by people who are NOT covered by health insurance, and companies who exploit their workers in meat packing plants do not allow their workers to have health care- who do you think pays for their injuries when they go to the ER? Or when someone who does not have health insurance has a heart attack because fast food is the only thing they can afford, goes to the ER, and has to have expensive triage care... who pays for that? 8) I know I have gone on for a while, and if you have made it this far, congratulations. I would just like to say I am not a vegan hippie, I have eaten plenty of fast food in my life. However, now that I know what fast food actually stands for, I will NEVER support any type of fast food ever again or allow my future family to eat any of it. It literally has ruined America in so many ways. So, next time you are craving a big mac, try making yourself a sandwich instead. Fight fast food in America!! We the people deserve to know the TRUTH.
