  • Why would a president of the US pretend to be dumb/ignorant/slow?
  • He's socially awkward, so that may have something to do with it. Other than that, no, I don't believe he's putting anything on.
  • I have telepathic proof that Pat Robinson is the puppet master here. The 700 Club is a hub.
  • I believe his behaviors are picked apart just like every single other president has been for years and years.
  • He has been described by people close to him as one of the least inquisitive presidents in U.S history. Meaning he has no interests! No desire to learn! He has admitted himself, that he hates to read! He has a low I.Q! He is inarticulate. He believes god tells him to invade other countries! He doesn't think it necessary to actually study up on things like the cultures and the religious diversity of countries he wants to invade! He fires those who don't tell him what he wants to hear, aaaaaand....he's from texas! LOL Ummmm....Something tells me he'd be a lousy actor too....
  • People react to southerners with a prejudice that paints them all as ignorant. Making sport of our leaders is a great American pasttime. George is not very photogenic or well spoken. That makes him an easy target. So easy in fact that it is hardly sporting to point out his awkwardness. If he is fooling us or playing dumb, then the voters are the fools, because George did win two different primary seasons and two presidential elections. He defeated the BEST that the Democrats could oppose him with. I seldom like his politics, but our government is run by three branches and a huge beauracracy, not just a president. They can't all be morons.
  • Do not be fooled by what you see. Go back and look at some of the speeches he gave as Governor of Texas. Remember, he once flew a plane.
  • He is not putting us on. DUH!
  • As he started an illegal war, and therefore is a war criminal, why worry about such piffling things as his IQ?
  • To me, the only way you can judge the man is to look at him as a whole. He has piloted one business after another into the ground (including this country), but he has finagled his way to the controls, hasn't he? I don't think, though, that we can discount the influence of his family on the course his life has taken. Whatever success he has attained has probably been coordinated by people behind the scenes. Perhaps he isn't stupid, just without common sense as many people are, and yes, I think his down-home shit-kicker routine is an act to curry favor with the same people who would otherwise despise him for his background.
  • Why would you be wanted to be known as the stupid president. I doubt he's just putting it on.
  • Hey, he's read 3 Shakespeares!
  • well personally i like him. I think he's doin the best he can. i mean come on its alot of pressure! the president of the WHOLE country.
  • I believe he is exactly as he appears to be. I don't think there would any advantage in him pretending to be so out of touch.
  • By the way his father was a southerner, remember?
  • I don't think he's stupid. I think he's mislead, I think he's stubborn, and I think he has an agenda, but I don't think he's stupid.
  • Like a fox. Intelligent and stupid are not the same. GW IS foolish, but he also is led by others. Too many people around him with their own agendas. Love my Country, but not Bush.
  • I think he is inarticulate not stupid. I think it is a mistake to assume a lack of intelligence because he doesn't express himself well. I think he knows exactly what's going on and what he wants to accomplish and how to accomplish it. Even if I don't agree with his methods and am very disappointed in his terms as president I would never assume that he is stupid. I would never call him that even if I thought it to be true just out of respect for the office he holds.
  • Why would he act stupid when he the leader of a contry?
  • I think he's pretty dumb....
  • he's not dumb, he just doesn't care about anything or anyone but himself and his friends. i also believe he's still drinking and doing drugs, this would explain a lot when you compare some of his more eloquent speeches and the really incoherent ones. but, no matter how you stack it, he's a supreme jerk!
  • No, I think he's way more stupid than he seems. Room temperature IQ.
  • He is a smart cookie with an over abundance of nuts.
  • He like all presidents are puppets. He doesn't know what to say or do. Someone else is pulling the (purse) strings... The FED. If he goes up against them it's curtains. Money manipulators rule the world for now.
  • Well, what most people do not realize is that he kind of wasn't interested in the job. He's the kind of guy that's fun to be around, but you wouldn't want him in charge of anything important. Also, it's not so much that he's stupid, but more so socially awkward.
  • He was mildy retarded.
  • "Gentlemen, Chicolini here may talk like an idiot, and look like an idiot, but don't let that fool you, he really is an idiot." --Rufus T Firefly, "Duck Soup" (1933)
