Actually, they are Rated R for strong crude sexual humor, language, drug use and violent depictions. And besides, they are certainly not for kids.

I guess a stupid movie would be a movie that is not necessarily bad, from an entertainment point of view, but just doesn't have anything to say and doesn't have an effect on your way of thinking. With that in mind, I'd venture a conjecture that 90% or more of Hollywood movies fit that definition.

I love stupid funny movies! Spaceballs is my favorite, but I also liked Airplane and the Police Academy movies!
