As children I bet most of us aren't grateful for what we had, but as an adult I realize how great my childhood and childhood home really were.

wish I could go back and visit whenever I wanted to.

My mother's house 'yes'. My father's house 'no' (except for my stepmother, who was sweet).

I have many....had a great childhood in that house.

I do. It has strong sentimental value still.

I lived in 3 or 4, seems that has been passed onto me as well LOL, but yes, most of my childhood memories were good ones.

Yes and No. Dad had anger management problems - a.k.a. a vile temper which lead to 2 of us being SERIOUSLY physically hurt. Mum was quite frightened of him and did all she could to placate him. He hit her as well as us - his children. There were three of us and we left home at ages of 17, 18 and 19 all for vastly different reasons but the main reason for 2 of us leaving was to avoid his anger management problems. I learned in my old age that the reason he never laid a finger on the youngest one was because our mum gave him an ultimatum "Treat this new one the way you treated the other 2 and one day soon you'll find us all GONE. He NEVER laid one finger on little brother. To me, that showed he didn't have real anger management problems at all - it was all a POWER TRIP.

I do, yes. When we moved to another city in my teens I was very unhappy. I never could develop an attachment to the new house. Fortunately, I went away to school relatively soon.

Some of them. I can remember five of them (which isn't all of them).

No; the only memories I have is being beaten by 3 older siblings every day, then of my job at age 8 then 3 jobs by age 16.
