Hi CT!...yes, my eldest son, mother in law and sister in law have type 1.

Yes, my father has diabetes, even lost his big toe and part of his foot from it as he didn't even know he was diabetic. His eyesight is getting worse, too.

Yes, I have diabetes. I found out in 2006 after a stay in hospital. I don't take insulin, but do take Januvia - the oral equivalent of Byetta. I control sugar with exercise and proper nutrition. Pretty much I eat what I want, I just have to be careful when I eat it.

yes. i do. i have type 1 diabetes for five years now. i take humalog. 8 shots a day. and i take lantus at night. also my paw paw has it and my aunt has it.

my mother did and im prediabetic so i have to take meds to bring it down plus they make me lose weight which is something else im trying to do
