If I have to repeat myself over 3 times then YES!!! LOL +5
-
No. I'm used to it. However, I might just shut up, hold back, and not say anything more.
-
Not any more. I learned my lesson. When I first moved to Washington, D.C. there was a guy blocking the aisle in the grocery store and I asked him (politely) to move his cart. He completely ignored me. I asked again -- no acknowledgement. I finally reached out to tap him on the shoulder. He turned around, I asked again for him to move his cart and he was very nice about it. I'm glad I at most had a slightly pained expression on my face. For people visiting or relocating to Washington, D.C., remember that we're the home of the world's largest university for the Deaf. It's important to remember that if you don't want to look like a complete putz. LOL.

YES!!! I thought it was just me! I must stop though!
-
No, sometimes we can't hear others too, especially when we are using an earphone.
-
No I am hard of hearing and am use to people making rude remarks because I did not hear them.
-
Not when they don't hear me, but when they deliberately ignore me. Anger might be too strong a word, but a little pissed, most certainly.
-
Nope. Im partially deaf in one ear and I almost never hear anyone. How could I get mad at something I do myself all the time.
-
With one person yes because they refuse to get a hearing aid and they can never hear me, I get tired of repeating myself.
-
No when they ask "what did you say?" I respond "nothing it's not worth repeating" What annoys me is when the person begins to say "common I wanna know please tell me...blah blah blah"
-
I never let it get to that stage! there are some very ignorant people out there, of this I'm fully aware! :-/
-
Nope.
-
Not usually, but the second I find out that you did hear me is when I get p*ssed.
-
No because i have hearing loss myself and understand how hard it can be sometimes :)+++++
-
No. It bugs me when people do that to me, especially when they are too far away or the room is noisy.
-
No, I wouldn't say angry. ._. It's irritating sometimes though.
-
I'll add that I don't, but hate it when people do that to me... especially over the phone when the connection is breaking up.
-
Uh Oh did I miss something??? Point me in the right direction..........please....: )
-
dont hear or dont listen????
-
Sometimes I get annoyed but I would never be rude about it because it's not like they can help it. I do get really annoyed when I'm ignored, though
-
Yes, very!
-
its like being invisible, as most of the things you can acomplish in life you have to play your advantages and being invisible is a huge one

they can't help hearing loss. now, i often feel slighted when somebody pretends to not listen to me. i figure that once i've said it, the person can choose whether they want to use it or ignore it. on the other hand, one of the most amusing incidents in my life was a time when i walked into a room and my friend was there. i said hello and shot out a minor insult to him. he put his hand to his ear and said, "what"? i said it again and he did the same thing. after about 50 times, i finally figured out that that smart fart was teaching me to not insult - by - using what seemed to be his not hearing me.

Only when they betray me.

Anyone else?
