Yes! Right after highschool graduation I loaded my car with camping supplies and just started driving. I was on the road for a couple months, but I had my dog with me for protection and company. I had wanted to go up to Montana that spring but the camping got sooo cold in Wyoming I sped to California instead! Lonliest time of my life.

Yes, I went to Zante for a week on my own. I had to get over my shyness which was a good thing. I ate alone every night, something i would never have done before, all in all it was an experience from I learnt a lot.

I did it 3 or 4 times before I was married. It is very liberating.

Many times. The longest trip was three weeks, to China and Japan. An incredible sense of freedom.

A week yes. Then I had gone for an even longer trip. Lasted a few months or so.

I actually did almost 3 weeks in Vietnam 10 years ago as a solo traveler. It was cool but now I prefer travel with groups.

Yes, a lot!!! New Zealand is the best place to do it. Just you, gorgeous coutryside and peace around. I have found many great walks there, some for a few days, some for a week...RECOMEND IT
