Try www.mudconnect.com You can start with the top 10 list; the categorical listing is pretty diverse and can be overwhelming. If you're primary concern is RP, there are two categories there - RP encouraged and RP enforced. If you're just looking for a text game, there are loads of genres.

Depends a lot on what you're looking for. Mudconnect is a great list, if what you want is a MUD.
