-
Night of the Living Dead May not get it on DVD again, i borrowed it on VCR.... You may get a copy if you are lucky
-
Not so much now, but the most scared I've been while watching a film would have to be Halloween when I was about 10. Of recent, there havent been that many good scary films, just sick gore films. The Descent was very good though I felt
-
The sixth sense seeing all those dead people.
-
The Exorcist was the scariest of its time.
-
I'm not a horror movie fan, but the scariest movie I have ever seen is one of the Chuckie movies. He creeps me out so much.
-
I love to watch movies in the dark (as dark as possible) on my own close up (love it on my lap top while I lie on the sofa). Doing this you can really get into a movie! Some of the scariest ones I remember seeing are the nightmare on elm st series. Yes they get real stupid in places, but the early ones can really scare you if you get into them properly!
-
Most recently, "1408". I watched it at 11:30 Tuesday night, in the dark, home alone! What the hell was I thinking???? Good scary movie though! John Cusack is such a good actor when he portrays the guy being driven crazy!
-
The Grudge or The Ring (Not the American versions though, they're rubbish, the Japanese versions are much scarier.)
-
nothing yet. IF anyone can give me some horror movie titles that might scare me,pleasd do.
-
The Blair witch Project!! didnt actually watch it all it was that bad, dont like scary movies at all really, i was just trying to be brave.
-
All horror movies terrify me. I know it is silly but I just cannot watch them. I particularly hate anything to do with possession of the human spirit.
-
Have to go with a classic. The Exorcist.
-
Come on has no one seen the shining? Wow nothing compares, the junk they make today is just full of ugly looking monsters and sooooo predictable... Stephen King is the best! The Shining I love that movie!!!
-
I know its a old one but The Thing freaked me out,i got to the part with the head with the stringy things coming out of it and i switched off.

As a kid it was Jaws, after watching it for the first time I was scared to sit on the toilet because I thought the shark would get me!. I was quite young at the time though:-)
-
Mrs Doubtfire
-
well consider that I was small when I first saw it but it was Jaws I still have nightmares sometimes and I am afraid of sharks.
-
IT or the Blair Witch Project. but IT was insanely scary. no one likes clowns, especially me.
-
Air Buddies
-
try watching it alone in the dark late at night and then we'll talk about it!! yes! it was pretty damned scary!
-
Under the Tuscan Sun.
-
The US version of The Grudge scared me, I am too scared to watch the Japanese version, which is supposed to be even worse.
-
The old 70s TV series Salem's Lot. One of the scariest parts: the just died and recently returned as boy vampire floated to the second-storey bedroom window of our soon-to-be victim - his good friend when he was alive, actually, tapped the window and hypnotised our victim to unlock it for him... it wasn't so much as his appearance - yellow eyes, great big fangs, evil knowing smile but the idea that a vampire could get you to do its bidding just by looking at you was horrifying to me, a 12yo girl then.
-
The very first Alien. When I went to see it with a bunch of friends, the girl next to me jumped on me and screamed when the alien popped out of the guys chest which in turn made me jump out of the seat which in turn made the guy on the side of me scream. It was a riot and a scare at the same time.
-
Saw. I haven't seen the others.
-
Hellraiser 3
-
Saw III Hostel 2 Hills have eyes 2 and many others i like scary movies
-
Only movie that's ever really scared me was Aliens. The scene where they go in to find the colonists and find 'em stuck to the walls then they wake the one up & she's all "kill me" then the alien bursts out of her chest & they fry her so all these aliens start coming out of the walls etc...I was like 12 and that freaked me out.
-
Poltergeist. I saw it on the first night of summer vacation and did not sleep at all that night. I had trouble sleeping all the rest of the summer. I have not watched a single horror movie since.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It's so scary, I love it!
-
'play misty for me' .... it's an OLD movie but it scared me enough when i was 12 that when i watched psycho right after it, i laughed.
-
Wait Until Dark.
-
Psycho. I watched for the first time when I was 14 and I didn't take showers for years after that.
-
The original (it was Dutch) version of 'the Vanishing' I never saw someone literally vomit in the bushes outside the cinema before..but thats what one lady did as the audience were leaving. And THAT is impressive for a movie that did not contain a single drop of blood, or overtly violent action. Hollywood made an ansolutely GHASTLY (and not in a good sense either) version a few years back - terrible acting and absolutely prostituted themselves by giving it a 'happy ending'..... I would caution anyone contemplating seeeing this movie to be vwery cautious - it really can be too psychologically overwhelming for some, and certainly will scare the bejabers out of anyone else....
-
Watch the Halloween remake that is playing in the theatres. That was the scariest movie I have ever seen hands down, and I've seen a lot of scary movies.
-
An Inconvenient Truth
-
Jesus Camp, hands down.
-
Scary Movie 4 lol ;) I don't watch horrors.
-
Jaws!! Ha ha, just kidding, though I do hate that movie.
-
I don't scare easily, so very few movies can get to me. But, when I was younger, I watched "The Haunting", (the black and white original), late one night by myself, and I will say that I looked over my shoulder a time or 2. The scariest newer movie I have seen would have to be "The Grudge". I jumped a couple of times in that movie. That girl and the little boy gave me the creeps!
-
possibly the shining....i watched it all on my own, in the dark, in a hospital bay.was scary!!
-
1. Ju-on: The Grudge. 2. Boogeyman.
-
my scariest movie would be The Ring

-
Ok, I know this is dumb, but Saw. No othe rmovie scares me, but for some reason this one does. It makes me cringe and I can't stand it. It scares the hell out of me.
-
Childs play is the scariest movie i have ever seen. Chucky the killer doll also know as Charles Lee Ray is just the scareist horror freak in the history of ever!! In the movie at the end chcucky gets burnt by fire and runs around madly breaking every thing and destroying stuff in his path because he is in pain! He falls on the floor (they think he is dead)in the living room. But when that little boy (andy) goes to the living room burnt chucky is gone and is actualy alive but looking like a burnt corpes zombie freak chasing victims around the house and smashing doors down and stabbing people with a huge knife with snake parttens on the handles. Then they shoot it up and shoot its right arm off and its left leg off and its head off! Still after a while chucky the killer freak doll smashes through a wall and strangles a man to his death with the left arm he has got and his burnt zombified head saying stuff like...STRANGLE HIM! KILL HIM! KILL THEM ALL!! Scary dont you think? you should watch the movie its wicked.

-
When I was four, it was 'Dr. Sardonicis' When I was ten, it was 'The Birds' As I got older, it was anything with a pyscopathic killer, because they exist among us - so if it's based on a true story it scares the s**t out of me!
-
The Exorcist freaked me out the most when I was a kid. I thought for sure the Devil was gonna get me and make me spin my head around and bounce in bed and barf green soup
-
the exorcist i saw that movie when i was 11. coll movie thanks for your answer.
-
Maybe Psycho (I first saw it too young at 12 o´clock). For some silly reason, The Ecorcist makes me laugh.
-
I think, allowing for age and time, it would have to be Jaws. As a full grown adult I can't be the only one in a dark swimming pool.
-
Not counting movies where things suddenly jump out (a cheap 'scare') I think the only movie that literally sent chills up & down my spine was "The Shining."
-
Would have to be the Exorcist, considering I was only 14 when I saw it. Not much scares me after 4 divorces.
-
Nightmare on Elmstreet. I saw it on Thanksgiving vacation from my first year in college and I had to sleep on the floor of my mother's bedroom for three days.
-
I would have to say Stephen King's "The Shining" or "Salem's Lot"
-
basically any zombie no matter what kind of effect, make-up, or plot it couldn't stand the thought of being eaten alive not being able to escape because of being outnumbered

The House of Wax in 3-D with Vincent Price. I know, I know . . . you've never seen it, but at 11 years old, it scared me to death!!
-
The Truman Show. What if....?
-
This has been asked before, but I give you my answer nevertheless: Un chien andalou (1928) by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali. It has a scene where a human eye is cut by a razorblade, and this image has been haunting me for years after I first saw it.
-
United 93...I found it scary..

I don't know if you'd count it as scary so much as moving, but The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

The Last Mile

A movie called They, or Them, or something like that. It was about children who had nightmares about monsters in the dark who bite them. They even had bite marks in the mornings, but nobody believed their nightmares to be true. Then, when they were in their early 20's, the children started disappearing. i am still scared in the dark because of that film. here is the imdb link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0283632/
