Its all about the attitude! Add some peppers: Habanero chili, Scotch Bonnet Pepper, Datil pepper, Rocoto, Jamaican Hot Pepper, African Birdseye, Madame Jeanette, and a real hotty, Red Savina Habanero, WOOHOO!!!!!!

Depends on what I'm cooking but my favorite ingredient for hot is Sriracha sauce. I also love adding chipotles in adobo sauce to some things.

Ya want it really hot? Add Jolokia peppers. I am the only one that eats them here, so for the others I just use a tame hot sauce.

I add chili bean sauce and curry paste if I'm cooking Chinese. Red pepper for just about everything else.

Depends on what I'm making. For some foods, I use mainly green serrano chilis. A few of those will heat up any dish. For others, I use chili de arbol, it is a very hot dried red chili that some folks also call birds beak. They will add all the heat needed. Other chilis, such as the famous Caribbean ones I use for making salsas that burn going in and coming out. 2/26/23
