No. I can't. If I'm really mad or something (frustrated, stressed, etc.) I can't work at all.
-
If I am on my own, yes. But under pressure in a team, I get snappy and angry. I need to work in solitude
-
Certainly not when I'm playing rugby. I need to get my mind fully focused on the game by myself without anyone pressurising me to do so.
-
Not really.
-
Much better. The stress gets me going.
-
Yes, I work better under pressure. When there is no pressure, I get lazy and apathetic.
-
I used to lock up and felt stressed, when I was required to do everything at the same time. Nowadays I make a priority list, and start at the top. I use all the time it needs; cause when I mess up, it only takes more time. If I don't finish in time; too bad, my job isn't a life&death situation. If people are waiting at my desk and the phone rings, I tell them I'll call back later. I spread the workload. I do like some pressure though. Without any workload, I can't stay at the office very long.

I am a retired nurse and at one time, I did work okay under pressure, although would need a stiff drink when I arrived home. Then, my nerves began to always be on edge and I began to work less efficiently under pressure. I finally recognized burnout and left the nursing field.
-
I work best under pressure.
-
Yes. For me it gets my mind moving even faster. Without it I tend to procrastinate.
-

-
Not really I am not a good multi tasker, so I pace myself and cruise, if its not done today it will get done tomorrow
-
Academically, I work better under pressure. But something like interviews, no!
-
I enjoy being under pressure. I believe great accomplishments can be achieved after overcoming all the difficulties. I'm certain that I can adapt myself to the under stressful circumstances.
-
Not very well. I freeze under pressure.
-
Yup. Haven't have problems yet with pressure
-
Not in the least. The best way to slow me up is to try to press me along.
-

-
No I freeze.

I was in a 32 minute gunfight back in 1966. i am surprised at myself, as i look back and realize that i really did not lose my cool, while dodging bullets. I guess this is why i am here on AB, today.
-
... yes ... better even ... must have been the many years as an ambulance attendant ...
-
I can handle pressure if I have to. I do not do my best work under pressure, though. +5

-
I do my best work under pressure.
-
I work better with time on my side.
-
I would GREAT under pressure
-
I do my best work under pressure. better productivity, better creativity, better problem solving, I take charge of the situation and coordinate all available resources.
-
sometimes, depending on whats going on
-
"Pressure" is only a state of mind.
-
Like a pneumatic tire.
-
I do when I have to, but I prefer to take my time.
-
I think this would depend on the kind of pressure. I've done the work of 4 or more people during rushes, but it's not like lives were on the line. If you're talking about being a single parent living on minimum wage trying to pay for a home I managed to get us through it. I don't think I did a very good job but we both made it. He never went to juvenile hall or spent the night in jail. It's more than I can say for myself!
-
Last week I had a lot of work, but rather than working under pressure, I just went with my normal routine, and I got things done quick!
-
depends on what kind of pressure it is
-
Not really. I sure could use some information at this time since I am very short on time. I don't suppose a phone call is possible? enough is enough, I need his advice.
-
depends on whats going on
