Yes definately, but what can one do? +
-
no thankfully I don't! my s/o just got high blood pressure from eating too much salt
-
i can honestly say yes.
-
Probably - most people do.
-
I don't think so. I avoid sprinkling any extra on my food. I think most foods already contain enough.
-
I am very careful to eat no natural salts.I will not buy processed foods for they contain salt.I have to cook only from scratch to be fully assured that I get no other salts other than are in the vegetables naturally.Even beef, pork and other meat is full of salt for it is fed to livestock. As far as I am concerned any salt other than what comes naturally in nature is bad for ones health, thus the health dilemma we are in now.
-
No, I was told awhile ago that there is enough salt in the food already. So even though it might be tough I stopped taking in salt. Fox700

gotta watch salt..... i`m a slug!
-
no, I was brought up without salt on the table. There was no taboo against using it. If I had wanted it I certainly could have had it..but I just never wanted it. I still have never developed a taste for much salt.
-
Yes, but I expell is so quickly that it doesn't matter.
-
I try to limit it as much as possible. I'm on medication for high blood pressure and it is well controlled but I don't add any to most foods.
-
Yes, I confess, too much. I love salty anything. I do try to counter act it by drinking lots and lots of water to get some of the sodium out.
-
i would say yes - but i love it
-
Undoubtedly. I go from being "good" and not adding salt to being in a "what-the-he**-life-is-short" mode. Vacillating between the two extremes gives me a lot of exercise, which in itself is healthy! Happy Thursday my friend! :) ((hugs))
-
No, I use pepper and a little salt to season. I hardly ever eat potato chips, salted nuts, etc. My weakness is any type of good bread/rolls/biscuits.
-
Oh yeah. As my dad use to say to me..."Would you like a little food with your salt". I even put salt in beer.
-
way too much, im definatley going to die
-
no i never put it in to my cooking or sprinkled on food, my husband used to have loads till i hid it, its bad for you, well to much anyway. alot of food you buy now a days has it in aswell.
-
Definitely, even if you don't add it. It's loaded in so many things...stewed tomatoes, chicken broth...and if they took it out the food wouldn't taste half as good..
-
Unfortunately I do. I eat a lot of food that already has salt in it, which is not healthy. I also tend to add salt to a lot of the things I eat. I definitely need to cut some of my salt intake.
-
Do not ever sprinkle it over cooked food. But will use it in cooking. But very little.
-
Yes, I'm afraid I do.
-
ONLY ON VEGTABLES AND I LOVE FULLY COOKED VEGTABLES, WHEN I WAS YOUNG I ATE VEGTABLES RAW, BEFORE ANYONE KNEW ABOUT ENZINES AND IF YOU HALF COOK THEM YOU LOST THE ENZINES, BUT I CHEAT AND USE GARLIC SALT AND THATS GOOD FOE EVERYONE.
-
yes i eat FAR FAR to much
-
no, i don't like salty foods and most of what i eat has limited amounts in it :)
-
Not usually. I use herbs and other ways to enhance flavors. Now on a potato...maybe...sometimes
-
No.
-
I dunno. I use it (albeit sparingly) on everything I cook, but avoid high sodium prepared foodstuffs. ;-)
-
I used to, and I actually crave it. But, as I got older, I had to cut down for health reasons. I try to buy foods with less sodium, and I never, ever add salt to anything.
-
No, I try not to eat too much salt.
-
