Just answering them
-
Yes. It's even more impersonal than the internet to me for some reason.
-
i despise them and come from a long line of folks who feel likewise. i have one telephone whose ringer is always off, located on the floor, where it can't be seen. that's my attitude toward phones. when i lived in england i didn't have a phone at all, and since england is a totally dysfunctional country where none of the public phones worked, either, no telephonication took place whatsoever manhattan (to give an example) has been ruined by cell phones, a while ago you could experience oceans of people interacting along the blocks of 7th avenue, now it's several hundred people per block creepily engaged in conversations with people who're not there. ick phuck phones
-
When they are all there is to communicate, it's lucky they are there. Talking too long or being contacted by people I don't want to talk to annoys me.
-
Yes, its my job so I hate talking on my cell phone, I only really use it for family and emergencies (the baby)
-
The phone I like...But when I call someone and I can almost see them check'in the caller ID and ignoring the call. This is bad enough but then they never call back. I can't blame the poor phone, it's the person carrying that badboy. And to be honest, sometimes that person is me.
-
Yes i'm sure i do.
-
I like them!
-
atleast you can turn them off or silence the ringer
-
I only dislike them when they ring.
-
Not that much....
-
yess i do
-
yes i dont take calls from unrecognised numbers - but also really hate talking on the phone!
-
Phones are a damn pain but fab when you need one. I don't mind leaving my mobile behind...
-
I could live without them. I remember times when they never stopped ringing at work, over 100 calls a day.
-
Yeah, even now that I can (almost) say the calls aren't for work,I still hate to interrupt the 'play time' and stop doing what I am concentrating on, to answer the da*n thing, but I guess it needs to be seen to,both parents HAVE to bug me about something(It's like taking care of children all over again,,,sheesh,,,LOL)
-
Yes, i only answer when i feel like it, my mobile is so old that i get weird looks when i use it, why should i get another one(i was given it).
-
YES! I used to work on telephone: I was a bill collector, I worked in a theater box office selling tix over the phone, I did "switchboard" for a time... I don't know how many jobs I've done requiring being on the phone. I hate the phone to this day and would rather send an email or text. I think the phone is an invasion of my time. Rarely does anyone ask, "Are you busy, should I call back later?" I hardly answer the phone.... I will wait and check voice mail later.
-
I hate making phone calls.
-
Depends on the contest.
-
That would be me. Can't stand to hear that damn ringing.
-
i dont like talking on the phone. i gat really embarrassed and i hate the awkard silences while thinking of something to say. i like texting tho, its a good way of contacting people when u get bored in lectures and stuff.
-
I hate carrying the cell phone around; I only have one because my work requires it. On the plus side, they more than pay for it w/ a little addition to the paycheck.
-
