... yes & no ... Although it usually takes a few days to complete (which sucks for those on side streets), they do excellent quality work.

Oh, they remove it VERY well, but use the end of my driveway for a dumping area.

no. my town has no highway people that do that. We have to wait till it melts..they don't even do the main streets.

Snow isn't a problem for Georgia. It's the ice that kicks our asses. Secondary roads get very little attention in icy conditions. We just shut everything down and roll up the sidewalks until it melts.

LOL Are you kidding me?? On Main Street, they plow the snow into the Center of the road. It really blew my mind our first year in this town. I remember a storm last year, when I had to call the town office and speak with the town manager. The snow had been stopped for hours and no plow had come by for hours. There was about a foot of snow on my road. They ended up having to bring in a front end loader to clear the snow.
