  • Pretty stupid.
  • Oh gosh... makes me think of this girl I know. Oh gosh... She found herself warm enough, I guess I wouldn't worry in that case. I still like her though. :)
  • I just don't get it. I recently saw a young girl with a boyfriend. The boyfriend had on a jacket, the girl had on a skimpy shirt with nothing else over it, it was pretty cold out. Looked to me she was more interested in how she looked than how warm she felt.. It made her look pretty clueless.
  • I think they are going to acquire wisdom the hard way, and I hope the first time isn't fatal. There are more than a few people who have died by dressing that way and assuming their car could keep them warm and serve as a coat, only to have the car break down or get stuck and leave them walking in summer clothing in a blizzard. I also think they have an issue with authority and don't want to listen to their parents in any way.
  • Cant say that I have seen any of those here. Well unless they are not likely to be out in the weather.
  • I often think they are stupid but I wore shorts the other day and it was in the 40's but people who are like me are constantly "hot" and I very seldom wear long sleeve or need a coat so it doesn't mean anything necessarily. I know a guy who wears shorts in 0 degree weather and he's never gotten sick..
  • I can't understand that at all. I wouldn't be able to stand it. You'll never catch me doing that. I bundle up in winter to the point of looking like that kid from the movie "A Christmas Story".
  • I would tend to be very grateful and full of thanks........................
  • Clearly willing to sacrifice comfort for fashion but is lacking some brain power there. Iknow girls like this, quite a few being some of my friends. My friends usually don't spare them when they come in the next day sick or whinning about the weather.
  • I think you can buy fabulous, sexy jackets to go over those tank tops and I would get me one. But to each his own. It reminds me of those old episodes of "Three's Company". Jack would only have on a pair of boxers, Chrissy would be wearing a turtleneck sweater and corduroy bellbottoms and boots and Janet would have on a boob tube with spandex short shorts, tube socks and roller skates. They all lived in the same apartment, but had different climates.
  • in certain areas of the country winter weather is in the mid 70's.
  • Well, hopefully they are adults who can make the decision on what to wear or NOT wear as it were, so I don't usually think anything of it. There are some days that I do the same, but I tend to be a human furnace, and am generally hot to warm most of the time. I also keep a coat in the car in case I get cold.
  • Fine with me:)) Just don't wear white shoes after Labor Day.
  • I would look at the girl with a jacket and shorts and say, "Well, she sure does have pretty legs. They'll look fabulous over her mantel when they fall off from frostbite!" Then when they complain that they're cold, you say loud enough, "Maybe you won't be if you had put on some long pants with it being thirty degrees outside!"
  • Sounds like she lives in redneck country.
  • I would think that maybe she is one of those people that get hot really easy.
  • In Alaska it seems to be the norum, where ever you go some ladies like to be noticed,no matter how much I tried my daughters they were just fine,at times you just have to allow people to try and learn by trial and error.
  • They are dumbasses. Obviously they care more about what other people think then staying warm. That's pathetic.
  • That there are idiots, but they sure do look cute
  • I don't think much about it.
  • I think it's their choice - some people are fine in cold weather. My uncle is a good example; he spent some time in Alaska while in the military and when he came home, he was comfortable in a t-shirt while everyone else was bundled in heavy winter coats. If the girl is standing there shivering, then she's either severely misjudged the weather, or she's putting fashion above comfort. Either way, her choice, so I don't really care.
  • desperate
  • I think people that don't dress appropriately for the cold weather are very foolish.
  • I always get a kick out of it, to see these girls waiting for the bus with their arms crossed and cold. Hey, whatever it takes to remain fashionable and to attract guys.
  • She's up to something! Or her parents don't care about her.
