  • No. Everybody dreams every night, the difference is that some people find that sometimes they are unable to remember any dreams in a given night.
  • Sometimes. But I figure its because I am half-asleep and not fully asleep. That's probably why.
  • Frequently, my dreams usually are nightmares so I prefer not to dream :(
  • Never. At least three or four remembered (sometimes unfortunately) every night. But even the nightmares are cool inna way because I wake up grateful! ;-)
  • Probably not, but I almost never remember the dreams I do have.
  • I find it annoying to fall asleep, and the next thing I know the alarm is going off. The night goes by too quickly. Also, I am a writer, and am often inspired by my dreams. So whenever I go for weeks straight without recalling any dreams, it's a little disappointing.
  • I do, and sometimes I dream every night. I've had dreams that dragged on and on, and was glad to wake up. It's pretty weird.
  • Being male, I don't menstruate. ;-)
  • I wish I had it so good, but unfortunately I don't.
  • Everyone enters REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep for at least a portion of the normal sleep cycle. Dreams occur during REM sleep. We generally don't remember dreams. When people do remember dreams, it is usually from REM sleep bordering on the edge of waking up. The last little bit of dreaming before your body starts to wake up. With most people, they might remember one dream on a night, and not know that they actually had up to a dozen more dream experiences that sleep cycle.
  • It might be that, but it's more likely you just can't remember those dreams.
  • "Do you go through long periods where you don't REMEMBER any dreams at night?" would have sufficed. =D
  • I usually always dream, and some rather vivid ones. Although incidentally I don't remember what the hell I dreamt about last night, probably because I actually slept pretty good. >_>
  • No, I dream every night.
  • i used to, for most of my life, but now i remember my dreams every night. For example, last night i dreamed about kim kardashian. haha
  • yes... most dreams occur in light stages of sleep and are said to be only remembered when awoken in the middle of one... i agree with this because every dream I have had has been unfinished in a way leaving me wanting to go back to sleep to finish a good one or being thankful that I awoke right before the worst part. If by long periods you mean several days then yes i have. I read a study about the effects of the herb rosemary in dream recollection and also agree with that because I happen to have some fresh rosemary growing in the backyard and did a little experiment... success!... if you are suffering from a lack of dreams then possibly consider incorporating the herb in your diet.
  • i very rarely remember my dreams...what does that mean?
  • Well remembering the dreams is the hard part. We dream every night. I found that smoking to much refer* can hurt your memory = "less dreams." I found i have and/or remember my dreams better if i eat chocolate before sleep. Before you jump out of bed turn off the alarm clock and start rushing to work or whatever, take a calm little peaceful moment to try and remember your night thoughts. But like everything else, the intensity of your dreams have cycles also.
  • Sometimes I do go through periods like that. I found that if i sleep on the other side of the bed i dream more vibrantly than the side i am used to sleeping on. It's weird but true for me. :)
  • I have to take an anti anxiety drug before I go to bed. My mind is too active and won't settled down if I don't take the pill. I can go back in to my dreams when disturbed. My dreams are vivid and I remember them when I wake up. At odd times during the day I remember different parts of dreams that I had sometimes as long ago as months. When going to sleep I feeling like I am going through past dreams to get to the new one. Very odd....but also very interesting to go to the movies every night and not pay a dime....All of this is when I am on the drug....If i don't take them, I get very little sleep......an hour here and hour there.....
  • yes, i do then i have periods where i dream alot.
  • I dream every night!! I am an amazing crime fighting kunfu fighter who destroys all enemies and alawys wins!!! Gotta love the dream land!!!
  • First....thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. Your investment of time and thought is very touching. I did not receive this until this morning. Tonight I will do these relaxation techniques and I am sure it will help me. I enjoyed the video, it brought tears to my eyes not only because of the song itself but that you sent it to me. I am amazed that you did this for me....Thank you so much....TT
