I just bought a Dell computer that came with a dvd burner 16x DVD-/+ burner . The burner will not allow me to burn DVD+R only DVD-R. I've tried to burn the same movie on both types but had no luck with the DVD+R. Why does one work and not the other.

Is there an iso burner that will burn the iso to play in my dvd player? My dvd player reads DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW. I tried imgburn but it didn't read in the dvd player. It just wrote it to the disk. Can I get some help
