  • It keeps crashing how frequently? How long after start up each time? Is it regular? Have there been any electrical disturbances recently? Can you smell anything funky if you sniff (gently) the power supply? Have there been any "popping" or "cracking" noises? Have you installed any software that might be suspect? I personally would check the power supply first, then inspect the mother board for busted capacitors (very common and bloody annoying) then go to the video card. If all are fine, test the harddrive for corruption. If that's fine, test the RAM modules. If that's all fine, cry in a corner and rock backward and forward in a slow, rhythmic, deliberate fashion.
