Why do people assume just because I wear low-cut shirts that I'm a slut? I have fairly large breasts for my size and even t-shirts look low-cut on me.

I don't know anyone who considers you a slut. No one has come up to me and commented on you at all. Your question has to do with fashion. If tshirts turn low cut on you, then you have to avoid them. There is a british show hosted by Trinny and Susanna which talks about what things certain shapes can wear to look good. Have a look at their site and see what alternatives a big boobed girl can wear rather than a tshirt.

I really have to question that. My breasts are more than 'fairly large', and shirts only look low-cut if they ARE low-cut.

Exposing your breasts is regarded as a sexual come-on. It doesn't matter *why* they are exposed - if they are exposed they are regarded as a come-on. And someone who continually gives a sexual come-on is regarded as a slut. Prejudice or stereotype, of course. But someone wo wears a suit and tie is regarded as a corporate man, someone who exposes a lot of cleavage is regarded as a slut. That, sadly, is the way the world is. Nobody ever said it would be fair. So you need to wear higher necks, and may not be able to wear the clothes you are most comfortable in. But other people have size problems - a frioend was so small she could only wear children's sizes, and couldn't buy fashionable clothes. I am too tall, and find that I have to order most clothes over the internet to get a fit.

Wear what YOU feel comfortable wearing and NOT what some typecasting dweeb with limited intellectual capacity thinks you OUGHT to be wearing.

Some people buy into stereotypes and cultural myths that say a female's clothing denotes her sexual activity, and they further compound the stupidity by labeling sexually active females as sluts. Ignore them. You can't fix stupid.

i have big boobs too and i were tanktops and shirts that r lowcut but it doesnt make me a slut and it shouldnt make u a slut either unles u go aroun bending over for everyone to see......some people r jelous becuz most of them have small boobs and ya and guys r just pigs which is pretty self explanitory

Just remember you will never please everyone ..so only try to please yourself and let people assume whatever they want. They don't know you, so their opinion doesn't matter anyway. Even if they did know you, then you probably don't want to be around people who judge you by what you wear anyway. Go girl! ;)

Because they're idiots. As a proud member of the IBT Club, I would have been intolerably jealous of your capability to create cleavage. HOWEVER, I've just had a baby, and well... things have changed. I would do ANYTHING to get my barely-B's back. I sympathize with your problem. ^_^

I have the same issue and I can't even count all of the numerous times I have been called names for it.My guess is because maybe that don't have a larger chest and they don't get how hard it is to find clothing that will cover them! Its not your fault that they are idiots that don't understand! Just forget them because you know the real you!!

Because when u see that, ppl assume that u are looking for a certain kind of attention, and i assume that u get it. So ppl think that your a slut cause u must like that kind of attention, since your obviously looking for it. and i know that u can find shirts that cover yourself. my mom is a double e and she has no prob.

I will tell you what I think..I am 71 years old..female. If you want to be treated like a lady, you dress like a lady. That means no low-cut tops, no butt cracks that show, nothing so tight you can see everything. Our first impression is visual...you make a quick assessment of someone based on what you see..if what I see makes me wonder whether that female is a hooker, then, well, that's what I think. Others may well disagree. I am simply giving you my opinion of what I would think/do think/have thought! Happy Sunday! :)

you decide what you wear and if people make an assessment based on your clothing then they are only assessing what you choose them to. if they assume it just because of your chest size that would be wrong, but if they assume it because you advertise your chest they are doing what you ask them to.

Its a simple rule, If you dress like a tart, expect to get treated like one. A policeman dresses smart and commands respect, the army wear a uniform and that commands respect. We all wear forms of uniform as it defines our role in society and how people respond to us. Do you want to be taken seriously or seen as cheap slut ? When a girl wears low tops or short skirts, people will make assumptions about her. The same way if a man wears cycle shorts inappropriately.

How old are you? If you are still of high school age or younger, try to wear higher cut shirts. By large breasts for your age, that could mean they really are just average and there are many shirts out there that will cover you properly. I have C's and a slight frame, and I still manage to dress properly. If you are older than high school, they can bug off. Just remember, if you are wearing really low cut shirts, you still might get negative attention!

O K well my daughter is 19 she is surely no slut, she is still a virgin, one of a rare breed, she has big boobs and she wears any kind of tank top or shirt with v neck her cleavage kinda is there and nothing can be done about it.
