  • I don't think so, as long as your body can handle it. I'm dieting aswell and I eat a ton of carrots and I have for months. There are other vegetables that are calorie free, asparagus, celery, lettice, brocoli, cucumber ect. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
  • no, but your palms will turn orange if you eat alot. trust me.
  • well one serving of baby carrots is 14 and that's only 35 calories. I personally love them but I know that everything in moderation is the key. So for dieting i really don't think there is much of a limit, but you might want to try eating something other than carrots for your meals otherwise you're missing your proteins, carbs (which suck but you need *some* to function), and other things. PLus it would be awfully hard to get you calorie count with just carrots. You would have to consume a large amount of them
  • If you ate carrots only, all day for weeks on end, your could end up with hypercarotinosis (this results in yellowing of the skin due to the beta-carotene that gives carrots their colour). This condition is not dangerous and goes away when intake is reduced or stopped.
  • I am not aware of a limit.I have been juicing my carrots every day.I use the champion brand of juicer. This way you get the goodness from the carrots and not the bulk. I buy a 25 pound bag(it is much cheaper) of carrots every 2 weeks,so everyday I juice about 2 pounds of carrots .To add taste to the juice I add a apple. The juice should be drank right after juicing. It is much easier to diet this way.
  • A little moderation is a good thing. It's not good to eat too much of anything. Recently a woman died by drinking too much water. I'd be careful to vary my diet if I were you.
  • no, if you eat too many, you'll have to just go poop them out.
  • Like Tani said, at first you might turn yellow (my sister turned yellow when she was a baby because my mother kept feeding her carrot baby food), and if you ate carrots all day, you might die from an overdose of Vitamin A (yes, that is possible). Both are highly unlikely, but if you're eating A LOT of carrots, make sure not to take any vitamin supplements with high amounts of Vitamin A. Carrots do have calories, but you probably burn more chewing them than you consume.
  • 5-3-2017 No limit. The nutritive value of a carrot is inside the tough cells, so you have to chew thoroughly, or grind, or cook a carrot to break down the cell walls. If you don't do that then you are just eating filler. Carrots contain pro-vitamin A, which is orange, and if you eat a lot it will make your skin orange. That's not dangerous, but it sure gets attention.
