On the old Answerbag we had account numbers and could figure out how many members there were. On this new version of AB (almost 1 year old), for reasons unknown, the new administration did not assign account numbers and hasn't published any statistics so we don't really know what the actual numbers are. If anybody gives you a number, it is at best ... only a guess.

I don't think even the answerbag staff know that answer. There are some people who have more than one account as confirmed by them, members who no longer use the site, and new ones who join.

10/19/17 I don't think very many. I'd guess 30 or so regular members, and I'm being generous. Most of the questions are necro'd from the old site.

Just in the religious category of Answerbag, I recently had a conversation with 13 religious members. As for the non-religious people, I wouldn't have an idea.

10/6/2023, since 2017 when you posted this question, the number has grown to over a dozen. These are AB'ers that you frequently see. I'm not counting the few who make an appearance on Answerbag after months or years, nor am I counting the newcomers in whom you see for a day or so, and do not comeback anymore. I'm also not counting the spammers in which lately they have been spamming this site.
