ARROGANCE is my number one pet peeve.
-
Arrogance every time it involves selfishness.
-
arrogance
-
I would have to say arrogance because arrogant people usually feel entitled to be selfish!
-
Selfishness. I can be one arrogant bastard, but at least I look out for the people I care about.
-
Well being arrogant is a selfish act , and I feel they go hand in hand -- + 5
-
Both they are like 2 sides of the same coin!
-
I am very unselfish, I have given so much money to the homeless, and needy and famlies that need help, but on the other side I am very arrogant too, where does that place me?????
-
I'm going with selfishness. Arrogance, in moderation, is not necessarily a bad thing.
-
here is the priority. 1) arrogance with selfishness 2) arrogance
-
selfishness. I usually tolerate their arrogance
-
Arrogance hands down - Nothing worse than someone coming to an event with a special guest "their ego".
-
well, I don't think that they are neccessarily mutually exclusive........I think that selfishness requires a great deal of arrogance, and vice versa. But if I had to pick one, I'd say arrogance.
-
Arrogance is just a part of selfishness. So, your question is moot. It's like asking "Which irritates you more: the lesser evil, or the greater evil?" I think, you have my answer.
-
Selfishness. Arrogance just doesn't bother me that much. It just seems easier to ignore.
-
I think both attributes go hand in hand together. Its called Narcissistic behavior.
-
Human beings are innately selfish. Arrogance is learned. Therefore, arrogance is the worse. I can think of a few personality flaws that I hate more, though.
-
Selfishness
-
Selfishness, I guess, only because a selfish person would be less likely to give me their stuff.
-
both are equally aggrevating.
-
I think it depends on the type of arrogance, but normally I'd go with selfishness. Arrogance can be hot if it's confidence. If it's arrogance like: "oh, I'm the best at everything. Who are you again?" SUCH a turn off.
-
Grandfather say.. better to think big than to think small.
-
the latter of these two, but only slightly
-
Most arrogant people are selfish anyway and vice versa. It would be very difficult to say one or the other I dislike both
-
arrogance. I think everyone is selfish, to some degree, and it's important to self-preservation. Unless it hurts people, it's really not my concern if people are selfish. But arrogance is just silly to me, silly and stupid. Arrogant people are the ones who don't ask for help because they think they know it all, and that makes them dangerous. Give me a selfish person to work next to anyday, at least I'll be safe.
-
They are basically the same but arrogance stems from selfishness. The foundation for arrogance is being selfishness and haughty, prideful and lacking humility.
-
selfishness---it's like other people don't exists to them...it's all about them
-
Arrogance I can work with by rolling my eyes and such, but selfishness is much harder to tolerate for me.
-
Selfishness is the ultimate human weakness. It's the reason why we live in a world of violence and corruption. To survive we must work together; however, by our very nature we are condemned to satiating individual appetites. Arrogance is just a mask for weakness -- an inferiority complex most likely, or some other confidence issue. An arrogant person should be pitied, because if things were his way and he was freed of his inner demons he would be able to coexist with others peacefully.
-
Arrognace. Selfishness can be attributed to a hard life.
-
arrogance
-
Arrogance +5
-
Once someone shows one I never stick around to see the other which is surely there as well.
-
Arrogance, because it is more far-reaching and does more harm to people than selfishness, which is more contained and one-sided. If a person is selfish, that's his business basically, but if a person is arrogant, it affects others including myself, because his stupidity visits upon the innocents.
