I wouldn't vote based solely on anyone's endorsement, much less a woman who hasn't voted in a presidential election in 18 years.
-
Celebrities do not sway my vote. Also I never say whom I will vote for,it is private.
-
No I will vote for the one that I feel will take this country in the right direction.
-
Nope. I will vote for the candidate that I think will do a good job. If I think Obama will, then I will vote for him using only my decision, not that of any celebrity.
-
If I actually thought a lot of the queen of qasi-feelgoodism, then I might think about it for a second. But really it wouldn't matter if Jesse Jackson endorsed him, I probably wouldn't vote for him because I don't agree with his politics.
-
That is a reason to vote against him.
-
no way
-
Oprah has no influence over who I vote for.
-
Oprah is a TV show. Its not a person. It is Marketed to make you tune in over and over again so they can make money. They Use a person named Oprah in this show as one of their main actors. When her guest come on TV to talk about a new Movie they are in they are trying to get you to go see it so they can make more money. Oprah in Person is probably a good person, most people are but i've nver met her and it would be a mistake to think i know her. I will not vote based on what a marketing tool tries to tell me.
-
Nope, and won't cast a vote for Senator McCain because Michael Medved endorded him, neither.
-
No...she has her opinion and I have mine...but we both agreed on the same guy.
-
Of course not.
-
Nope.
-
NO ONE'S endorsement influences who I vote for! I vote on the strongest candidate concerning the important issues, and then HOPE they keep their word, (yeah, right)! So many of them seem to forget their platforms, once elected, (tho' I know Congress really controls alot of it).
-
No. In fact, Oprah's endorsement is a strike against him IMO.
-
maybe if he was an open book.
-
Of course not. Any endorsement, Opra or anyone else, should only mean "Take this guy seriously - check out his credentials". As it happens, I like Obama. I have just read his Audacity of Hope", and he comes over very well. And his political stance is very close to min. But that is my decision, not Opra's or anyone else's. (And I am not American, so my opinion doesn't count).
-
Isn't she the same one who endorsed Dr.Phil? With regards to your question - I think not.
-
No he doesn't believe in lowering the gas prices so u no he's not getting my vote!
-
No. That would be like allowing her to make my decision for me. I would not vote for anyone on the basis of someone's endorsement.
-
i would never vote for anybody just because oprah or anybody else endorsed them.. i vote for those that I endorse..
-
I vote for who because Ilike that person and believe they will do a good job, not bcause someone endoesed them.
-
Not no, but Hell NO! (I can feel the negative points now, go ahead)
-
Oh, hell no! I love Ophra, but an authority on who should run the US Government she is not.
-
I am voting for him because he's sensible and statesmanlike. He understands that lowering the gas tax is a bandaid. We need to get rid of gas and grow up. We need to stop being bled dry by this stupid war. That said I always do as Oprah instructs me to. :D
-
How 'bout we cut out the middleman and vote for Oprah!
-
No. Obama is not only pro-abortion, he is pro-infanticide. See his voting record against the Induced Infant Liability Act. I would never vote for this monster.
-
I won't vote him period. Silly little left-wing boy.
-
No. Endorsements don't make my vote.
-
I won't vote for him under any circumstance. He is dangerous. The world needs steady hand at the helm of the U.S. and Obama is a radical ignorant geek.
-
No. Endorsements mean nothing to me.
-
I can't stand Oprah. I heard from a reliable source that she is a bitch in real life.
-
No! Obama is VERY VERY IGNORANT! When I ask people why they're voting for him they just say "change." Change what? Vote for John McCain a REAL American!
-
I'm not voting. I hate all the candidates.
-
If people vote for osmeone simply because of an endorsement, they have no real opinions and should probably not participate in the election. But no, I wouldnt.
-
would you buy pancake mix that was endorsed by "aunt jemima" or rice because it was endorsed by "uncle ben"?
-
No, I would vote for him just to get us out of Iraq.
-
No, I would never vote for a candidate based on a single issue or endorsement outside of perhaps preventing a nuclear war. I am pro-life but I would never vote for a candidate just for that cause either. As for Oprah... that woman misuses her power all the time. I am surprised she doesn't have people drinking poisoned cool aid yet. Americans have gotten stupid over the last 30 years. We would sell our soul to a celebrity rather than figure out whats right and wrong. We worship idols that are about as screwed up as one can get. We assume that if someone is famous, they must be smart. Spend a couple minutes watching them talk about something intelligent. I guarantee you that within 10 minutes they have broken the law of non-contradiction or made a self refuting statement.
-
No, I dont think anyone should vote for a person based soley on an individuals endorsement. People should learn about their candidates position on causes they care about and vote based on who they believe is the best capable of acheiving that. Otherwise how can you make an educated decision. Opra cannot possibly speak on eveyones best interest. I know that voting for Obama would not be in my best interest.
-
i can't stand oprah! she says what ever gets her ratings she's almost as big a flip flopper as mccain!!! no, i'll not vote obama because of oprah's endorsement, i'd do it in spite of it. but, the truth is, i'll probably be voting green party, the dems and reps are too chock full of crooks these days, i'm done with them.
-
Nope.
-
I really don't like Oprah all that much. I'm not going to take her word for it.
-
naaa I'm not crazy about oprah either
-
No. I think it's very sad that there are those who rely on celebrities to tell them what to think and how to vote.
-
Celebrity endorsements have no bearing on how I vote...I can think for myself!
-
the oprah endorsement is meaningless. his youthfulness, hopefulness, magnetism, intelligence are why i will vote for him.
-
"F" no, The only thing that matters, is do I endorse him, that's all I care about.
-
No. Obama is the beast (not the black horse that's something else). He will merge the New Age Agenda with Islam.
-
No. Just spell "HARPOON" backwards, & you'll figure out why...
-
ASking Oprah about politics makes about as much sense as asking My cat about Quantum mechanics.
-
While I like the fact that she endorses him, it had no influence on my decision to vote for him.
-
Hell! No: I wouldn't even vote for Opra.
-
I don't care who Chopra endorses...it has nothing to do with my choice.
-
No I vote on issues only. I wanted Huckabee
-
Oprah's opinion means nothing to me.
-
I like Oprah, but I will not vote for someone because she endorses them. We are worlds apart and issues that affect her will not affect me in the same way. Now if she was living from paycheck to paycheck and had children or I was rich and didn't have children I would listen to her a bit more on this issue as we would be affected in the same way by the president.
