Is menopause a cause for celebration as no more periods or is it a terrible thing as you're really old now?

So old??? Who are you callin' old? A friend of mine went through menopause when she was only in her 30s. She was devastated as she still wanted to have children later in life. Old comes from the mind and from people who don't know any better. It can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on where you are in life. Sure, you can't get pregnant anymore but it also comes with some difficulties, too. Some people get them bad and others don't even notice. But none of these people are old unless they feel it on the inside.

You are a riot Jon. Menstrual periods are not the end of the world. When I go into menopause there will be other issues I have to face and I don't think I will be throwing myself a party.
