The answer is zero. Contrary to popular belief drinking doesn't "kill brain cells." What alcohol and many drugs do is damage the function of parts of the brain. Alcohol damages dendrites- the ends of nerve cells that relay messages in the body. Normally these dendrites fire- turning off and on- in order to send various messages between each other. Alcohol can cause them to be overstimulated which results in them no longer functioning to their full capacity. The body will try to go around damaged dendrites and form new connections, but this takes time and the more you drink or do drugs the more damaged dendrites you can create.
