I lock my doors everyday. And i do have a gun somewhere around here
-
I keep a loaded weapon but all the doors unlocked. Makes it easier for them to get in so I can shoot 'em. Just teasing. I have kids, so the doors are locked at night.
-
Yes and yes.
-
i'm pretty paranoid about making sure the doors are locked at night . loaded weapon not so much
-
Like I would tell a stranger if I locked my door. Let me put it this way: If you can get past my boobie traps, you can have my 13" B & W television and apple II computer.
-
Yes, doors with regular locks plus deadbolts. Also have a wireless security system directly hooked into to police, fire and ambulance. Do not keep a loaded firearm.
-
Yes, and I beleive there's a gun around here... somewhere. I mean, you need to defend yourself if someone breaks in with something, eh?
-
Doors are locked, great security system, but no gun as far as I know.
-
I lock my doors most of the time, but particularly at night. I do not have a loaded weapon unless you mean myself ... I do know kung fu, you know.
-
The doors are always locked. Especially at night.
-
Doors are locked, but no weapon.
-
We lock the doors when we're not home and at night. (Although, we have accidentally left the garage door open a few times.) There are not any loaded weapons in our house.
-
no and no
-
No need for me to lock the doors. or have any weapons. I have never had any problems.
-
Locked yes, guns no.
-
In polite society, we don't ask such questions. Here in the South we respect tradition and if you wish an answer to this question, the only answer will come after you have entered a house uninvited. Comprende, Hoss? Just ribbing you! Always best to assume that everyone carries a loaded gun!
-
The doors get locked at nite and when away.No weapons.

The doors get locked at nite and when away.No weapons.
-
I lock my doors at all times. when I'm home and when I'm not. Actually my door locks automatically when it shuts. No gun, I have a five year old in the house can't take ANY chances.
-
I lock my doors. Only because there is this one crackhead living in the neighborhood, who has a reputation for stealing, who is also notorious for mowing his lawn at 3'oclock in the morning every other day..
-
Yes I lock the doors and windows on the ground floor, and yes I keep loaded guns in the house.
-
YES
-
My father has a gun or two in the house because he hunts; although he is very careful with safety and I'm almost positive they're not loaded. But I guess we would use them as a scare tactic if God forbid we would ever need to. Yes, we lock all of our doors. At my mother's house we have an alarm system; but now that I'm a teenager it's mostly to keep me inside instead of keeping things out.
-
Locked doors yes, loaded guns no.
-
I lock my doors and I lock all of my windows except for one occasionally during the cooler months. I have no firearms but I do keep an ice axe under my couch and a machete in my laundry room.
-
Yes & Yes!
-
yes and hell yes
-
I always keep my doors locked. I don't have a loaded weapon and never plan to own one.
-
I lock my doors, But I do not agree with weapons like guns in the house cause I have kids and I would never have a loaded weapon in this case.
-
Rarely lock them if we're gone during the day, though if it's summer time and the bears are around, since we have lever door handles, we do lock them to keep snooping bears from accidentally opening the doors and having their way with our home LOL!!! After finding noseprints on the glass door, we lock those doors! We live pretty rurally and there are only 4 houses here, all family. We watch out for each other. Would never load a gun unless we were going to use it. And we inly have hunting rifles and they are safely locked up. The ammunition is in it's own safe spot.
-
locked doors more out of habit than fear - if i don't lock the house for ex and i realize that at 3 in the morning randomly, i can still sleep safely. no loaded weapons either. however, i know where my friends live i'm glad they keep their houses locked, but she's also told me it's more out of habit than fear
-
I definitely lock the doors - I feel safe in my area but I'm not going to take any chances. But I don't keep a loaded weapon - I have children and guns in general scare me. Too many accidental shootings.
-
Yes I lock my doors, and yes I have a weapon. But it is not loaded. I use to hate guns, never even hunted(still dont) Then at the age of 19 fresh faced, living on my own, I locked all doors one night on August 28, 2001 , and some how forgot to lock the sliding glass door. Someone broke into my house(after someone climbing up to the 2nd story balcony with no stairs)used to door I forgot to look and came in, attacked myself and my boyfriend with a hatchett(small axe), killed him and held me hostage for over 2 hours.I was hit 4x and have major surgies done. SO needless to say I realized how vunerable you are in your sleep, I have no children yet and when I have them if It scares me to have guns then maybe I will get rid of them. BUT until that time, If anyone ever tries to break into my house and take my life...IT WONT HAPPEN.
-
I live in Canada and don't seem to have to worry about such things.
-
I lock my doors, but I detest guns.
-
I lock my doors. I do not have any weapon.
-
I live in a very safe neighborhood and lock the doors nightly and keep at least one loaded gun in the house.
-
Yes, I lock my doors...but I think that's more common sense than paranoia. No, no loaded weapons, that's just beyond me. Maybe a baseball bat counts? :)
-
I like Mirage's answer. This is not really a question that should be asked in a polite society. However, if some unfortunate should try to enter my home uninvited...
-
We lock the doors, but no guns or anything. We do have baseball bats though. :)
-
I lock my doors and don't own a gun.
-
I lock my doors but I don't have a gun. I have a baseball bat. I mainly just keep it around though, because I think it's funny.
-
my parents tell me to lock the doors...and my dad has a gun always loaded hidden in his room...just in case
-
Doors locked - yes! Loaded weapon - no, we have a small child. We do have a security system that has every window and door secured. The security system tells us when a door is opened or closed or if a sensor is not responding. We all have video cameras all around the house and two dogs. We also have security lights arounds the house. The cops have even stopped by and asked for pieces of video from our cameras when there has been a crime committed around us (like a neighbors house or car was broken into).
-
Usually do not lock all the doors and yes I have a glock with the red light. I hope I never have to use it.
-
Totally lock the doors. No gun. They scare me. I have a German Shepherd though. =)
-
Lock all our doors and yes we have guns
-
I protect what I love by meeting oposition with equal force, empty house no locks, full house = world of hurt to would be attackers. you can have anything you can carry though itd probably do you more good. but I have had to make my stand once or twice, its terrifying to all parties involved, just walk on buy and let those frustrated feelings pass.
-
I rarely think to lock the doors and I do keep a loaded weapon in the house :)
-
I leave one door unlocked, but i keep 2 pistols and 1 rifle next to the bed.

-
Currently "they" lock my doors for me...but I'm up for parole next month, giving you a valid reason for locking YOUR door and keeping a loaded weapon in your house. But the "experts" say I'm rehabilitated! :-)
-
We lock our doors. We have guns, but I don't think any of them are loaded. I'm not really sure though.
-
