Has anyone ever told you to be happy when they do not know what you are going through in your life? If so how did you respond to them?

The world does not revolve around one person who is going through a very difficult time. We are living in a world of unhappiness, were other people have it far worse.

I just tell them thanks, I'm doing the best I can. I certainly don't burden them with my problems. How do you respond? 3/1/26

Depends on what I'm going through or how I'm feeling. I've had someone say "smile," and I've ignored them, this is Britain, weathers sh't most of the year, we're all skint, can't rub two coins together, and we cannot go most places without being watched on cctv, only time people smile is if the sun's shining or out walking their dog in the country, or at the pub so... :( (Overcast and rainy today!) I saw an old Reliant Robin in the car park yesterday, I had to get rid of my old car as she was beyond economical repair, I'd had her welded once, so was feeling emotional, on the front grill it had a little metal sign that said "sh'tbox" Now that made me smile!
