Because He is fully human and fully Divine. 2/15/26

⭐️Creamcrackered So he is brother and father? So he is on par with you as a sibling and God? -
dalcocono That's the mystery of the Divine. Jesus is our brother as a human man and our Father as God. All things are possible with God, whether we understand it or not I think.

Brethren by His physical nature (Matthew 12:48-50), and a God, being that in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. (Colossians 2:9)

So if all the fullness of God dwelt in me, am I God? -

Not right now. The human body is corruptible. In the final resurrection, Christians will have glorified bodies and be reunited in the body of Christ. (Colossians 1:18) -

But aren't we meant to be born a new, of spirit not of flesh, having died with Christ on the cross, and without sin, since the debt has been paid? And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cro Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of "Christ in my flesh" for his body's sake, which is the church To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is "Christ in you," the hope of glory: 28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: -

Have you ever met a perfect Christian?????????? I don't think so. Having died with Christ does not mean you are completely dead, unless you can tell me you are sinless and have gone to Heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:45 "Thus it is written, The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit." The last Adam is the final resurrection for Christians. -

I don't think the idea is meeting perfect Christians, I think Phillipians 2 explains the person to require humility, in order to empty the self of their flesh/worldy desire in order to experience the Holy Spirit within, I believe this experience naturally changes a person and this can happen during this lifetime, the temple is the body, Christ is the first fruits. -

You don't think the idea is meeting perfect Christians - yet you quoted verse 28 saying: "that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." Epic fail. LOL -

You think you can present someone else perfect in Christ? Christ humbled himself. God gives the grace. But if you are full of yourself how can you be a vessel? -

That's because... Human being - imperfect. Glorified body - perfect.

Ask me more questions. There are no Jehovah's Witnesses on Answerbag in whom I can discuss the Jesus is God concept.

They say that he is the arch angel Michael don't they? Which then contradicts the verse, Hebrews 1:5. -

Tell them there is no contradiction in Hebrews 1:5, cause nowhere in Scripture is Jesus called the Archangel Michael. When Jesus is referred to as an archangel, the word in Greek is "archangelos." It translates to a chief angel or a principal messenger. Jehovah's Witnesses can agree that Jesus is a messenger. -

I think they normally quote Michael in Revelations. It's odd there is no JWs on here. -

I know what you mean about Michael in Revelations. But an angel is also a spirit. The angel spoke to me - the spirit spoke to me. Nick Batchelor, Pugwash, Texasescimo, Butterflies and Chromeman were the last of the JW's on the new Answerbag. Chromeman returns from time to time: https://share.google/lSSGy2ciGjJCaiNP0
