  • My view of the world formed in a religious house, was that the world was ordered. We were loved and should be loving towards others. Respect parent and elders but be weary of strangers. If you had worries you could ask God to help you in prayers. A guardian angel watched over us but we needed to listen to their promptings; there was also temptations which we should fight. It was pretty consistent. I worked hard and achieved good grades. I have no regrets about my life as a religious person.
  • My family weren't church goers, well maybe on Christmas eve, but used God to emotionally manipulate, ie, God is watching you, etc. As I grew up I began to question it all, and was an atheist for a number of years, and felt religious people needed saving from their brainwashing, so they could feel free like me. Then my journey changed.
