  • I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that.

Thanks for sharing! See it here for the first time: https://youtu.be/xEdur4sIWyI?si=j2spT51ykyh2nvT9
  • Hmm, the only people I've seen doing that have been very young or very old. Could you elaborate?

Thanks for sharing! I shared a link above with www.bible-reviews.com. These are well-known questions of people shaking their eating utensils: https://www.quora.com/My-hand-trembles-a-bit-when-I-bring-spoon-near-my-mouth-What-can-be-the-problem https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1pxt6u/do_you_have_a_habit_of_shaking_your_fork_off/

Okay, I watched the video in the other comment. Yes, there are a lot of neurological conditions that cause "essential tremor," varying from Parkinson's Disease and Huntington's disease to Multiple Sclerosis and more. These sorts of diseases become common in the elderly, but should be quite rare for people your age. A lot of research on how to prevent long-term brain injury is ongoing.

Thanks for further sharing! I'm not asking about people my age, but since you brought it up, I have seen people my age in their 30's, 40's and 50's eat somehow in a similar manner. They will "bounce" their eating utensils before every bite of food and say: "This food is good." It seems like the food is heavy or they are eager to eat.

Maybe I am not as observant about other people's eating habits. But I worked at a restaurant for 3 years and don't ever recall seeing such a habit. We did have some people who would slam their drinks down forcefully enough to slosh them out of the glass, which I thought was a bit unusual until I saw it every day.
  • Never shook my fork
