Good question. Years ago, during one of the USA's big gun violence media frenzies, I did a deep dive into the psychology journals and, in a nutshell, when people see violence being used as a means to achieve a goal, and they see it working, even if it's only temporarily giving people what they want, those observers are more likely to resort to violence themselves in order to achieve their own goals when other methods stop working for them. Then, their own acts of violence have the potential to influence scores of others to do the same.

You mean like when the police have to resort to violence to subdue a criminal? Or verbal violence? "What is verbal violence and examples? Verbal abuse can include the act of harassing, labeling, insulting, scolding, rebuking, or excessive yelling towards an individual. It can also include the use of derogatory terms, the delivery of statements intended to frighten, humiliate, denigrate, or belittle a person." Isn't verbal violence the tactic you use regarding Christians? "harassing, labeling, insulting, scolding, rebuking, " And isn't that what you are doing right now, regarding people who use violence? And can I assume you were referring to a question I asked about punching? And did you assume I do such things? And were you trying to call me out? FYI I haven't even punched a real bag since I got divorced over 30 years ago. I don't need to. I can defend myself without physical violence. On the other hand I do engage in verbal violence when I've been provoked by others who start the verbal violence. You were bashing Christians long before I ever said an ill word to you. And instead of correcting your bad behavior you continue to start shit over and over. So basically you have asked for the abuse you have received. When will you ever learn the connection between your actions and the consequences OF YOUR BEHAVIOR? I will admit to punching an imaginary speed bag, but while you will probably see that as violence in your twisted mind, Billy Blanks and I see it as exercise. You bring me lots of laughs though.

Linda JoyJust saw the description. When was the last time you tried to "Make love not war?" You're constantly verbally abusing people. Show me one question you've asked or comment you've made that was loving and supportive and not critical? You are sooooo hypocritical!!
