Why is the US press giving Marjorie Taylor Green so much attention?
She's in the news every single day for nothing. She has nothing important to say and her opinion only matters to a certain few members of the Republican Party. Why do we care what MTG says? If you don't know who she is, here she is:

nothing important to say? "We must stop funding war in Ukraine and push for peace! Over $1 BILLION every single month goes to funding Ukraine's government and $113 BILLION spent in military equipment, weapons, and aid with no end in sight," she added. "We are on the verge of defaulting our country's debts and we are in over $34 TRILLION in debt. It's time to give a hard NO to the warmongers and tell the world we can't afford to play war anymore. Our taxes should only be spent on defending our homeland." Is some of what she said today is that not true ?

Opposing what she has to say is not "having nothing important to say". You're afraid of her and the things she talks about. I'll never understand what motivates your hatred of Trump and the Conservative party. I've asked numerous times, but you've never had the guts to list anything.

I think you answered your own question. She says a lot of really polarizing things. If you disagree with the things she says, it doesn't make the things she says unimportant. Keep in mind that the GOP controls the House of Representatives right now, and that her faction of the GOP is pivotal in establishing and maintaining that control. So, if she's one of the most powerful people in the most powerful faction of the most powerful party in the third most powerful organization in the most powerful government in the world, I'd say that whatever she has to say is important, like it or not. Personally, I think she's a moron. I also happen to think AOC is a moron. Yet, when the democratic party was in control, the press cared a lot about what she had to say for many of the same reasons. What we are seeing in Washington is both major political parties dissolving into cliques, and, unfortunately, the loudest and most bombastic cliques are going to dominate the news cycle.
