Why do men avoid me, treat me hostile and weird
I don't get it, I'm a friendly person. When I was a kid me and my best friend always played and joked around with boys around the block.
Ever since I became an adult I for some reason when trying to just be friendly guys just act weird and even a bit hostile.
I miss having male friends, cause I always had a lot of fun. Now I just try and chat and unless I'm talking to someone much much senior, I get into awkward situations that just make me feel weird. I see many other women talking and laughing with a guy say, but I try talk to the same person and am met by the invisibility treatment. Now I am not trying to flirt, just be friendly and have friends, especially with people I might have something in common with. It makes me wonder what is wrong with me just as a person, that I at first contact fuck up so bad I must be avoided like I was Satan. Some even treat me a bit hostile.

It's hard to answer this CNC, unless we were to witness you socialising. I think as adults, women are probably best befriending other women, you have a lot more in common with them, and there isn't the difficulty of dealing with the issues of whether the manfriend actually likes you more than a friend, or vice versa. Other than that, try mixing in a social circle in which you are all actively involved in something, this will give some common grounding and won't make things feel so awkward, I'm not sure what floats your boat, but volunteering in groups for wildlife, or woodland conservation can be fun, and team building.
