too means also. And you need to listen to your doctors. At your age you are in no position to judge your mental fitness. Take your meds. It will make life easier. And later you may not even need them anymore.
  • Ten years ago when I lost my grandson I was diagnosed with major depressive disorder. After losing my health, job and home I was diagnosed with anxiety as well, though they like to pair them anyway. I took meds for a while because I was ready to beat the shit out of someone I lived with in the shelter, but now I'm only on duloxetine (cymbalta) which is mostly for widespread pain for my arthritis/fibromyalgia. I have tendencies towards OCD, but unlike true OCD I can stop my compulsive behavior if it becomes problematic if I bite the bullet and try really hard, but its usually just replaced with a different compulsive behavior.
  • Yes Diagnosed by various psychiatrists with bipolar, PTSD, Bipolar. PTSD because of traumatic experiences including an emotionally, physically abusive boyfriend. The others with Tourettes (neurological disorder) Tourettes diagnosed by a neurologist.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm thankful you survived. My sister says she has bipolar, and I believe it! Its not easy. Ali has it. I saw her diagnoses printed out. But she has narcistic personality disorder as well. Its not easy. No one asks for a mental disorder and its not their fault. But I guess we all have our burdens to bear through life, it makes us strong, right? My parents and my son's father were abusive as well.
